Lower Refi Closing Costs with Attorney Opinion Letters
Webinar – Registration open to the mortgage industry
Original Air Date: Thursday, June 4, 2026 at 2:00 PM ET
In today’s refinance market, borrowers are increasingly focused on closing costs—and lenders are looking for new ways to remain competitive while still delivering trusted title and settlement solutions.
One emerging solution many lenders have heard about, but few fully understand, is the use of Attorney Opinion Letters (AOLs) in lieu of traditional title insurance.
Join Lenders One on Thursday, June 4th for a webinar featuring AOLPro, a fully insured AOL solution from L1 Title and Settlement Solutions. Unlike traditional AOLs that often provide limited protection, AOLPro delivers comprehensive coverage while helping reduce borrower title and settlement costs by hundreds—and in some states, thousands—of dollars on refinance transactions.
What You’ll Learn
Industry expert Garreth Long, SVP of Title, Trustee & Valuations at Altisource, will review:
- The costs and benefits of using AOLs across refinance transactions
- Which states offer the greatest savings opportunities compared to traditional title insurance
- How AOLPro compares to standard title insurance coverage
- The unique benefits of AOLPro, including coverage, pricing simplicity, and secondary market protections
- How lenders can begin leveraging AOLPro in their refinance business today
